We are expecting flash flooding and significant river flooding with an additional 3-6 inches of rain likely. Winds gusts could reach 45 mph. Power outages are expected to increase. As of 3:00 pm, 415,000 customers in the Carolinas are without power.<br><br>The good news – the rainfall forecast has been downgraded to 4-6 inches from the original 10+ inches this area was anticipating. While that is improved news, it doesn’t eliminate the possibility of spilling along the river system.
