This is a statute board consisting of 5 members of which 4 are appointed by the State Board of Elections and the chair is appointed by the Governor.
The Board of Elections makes and issues rules, regulations, and instruments not inconsistent with laws or rules established by the State Board of Elections as it may deem necessary for the guidance of election officers and voters.
Terms of office are for two years. Not more than two members of the Board of Elections shall belong to the same political party.
This board meets on the 2nd Tuesday of every month at 10:00 AM in the board room at the Board of Elections office.
