Members
Members of the Council on Aging will consist of four from each county. Members are composed of 50% older persons and include:
- Older persons with the greatest economic or social need
- A representative of elderly service consumers
- Local elected officials
- The general public
Terms of office are for two years.
Overview
Council of Governments - Aging Advisory Committee - no less than 16
Advisory to the Council on Aging (COG) on all matters related to the development of plans, programs, and services for those aged 60 plus residents in Region E.
Purpose
The board develops plans, programs, and services for persons 60 years of age or older in Region E.
