Burke County Convenience Sites - Rough Boxes

Construction Dumpster

Burke County remains committed to the safety and well-being of citizens and staff. Due to increasingly high amounts of traffic, large debris, and for the protection of Burke County staff and citizens, all rough boxes at the Burke County convenience sites will be closed until further notice beginning Saturday, April 11, 2020. Citizens wishing to dispose of old furniture, building material, junk, and large debris will need to take their loads to the Burke County landfill located at 2500 Marsh Trail in Morganton. Household waste will still be accepted at the convenience sites. Thank you for your patience and understanding during this unique time. Burke County always strives to maintain an excellent level of service to citizens while prioritizing safety and social distancing recommendations.
