Community COVID-19 Antibody and COVID-19 Testing

Morganton, NC–Friday, May 29 and Friday, June 5, Psalms/Solid Rock Family Medicine will be conducting a first come first serve drive thru COVID-19 ANTIBODY and COVID-19 testing clinic from 9am–5pm at Patton High School. Antibody testing is not appropriate for anyone who is experiencing symptoms consistent with COVID-19.

This testing is only for Burke County residents age 18 and over. Those seeking testing will need to bring a photocopy of your driver’s license and insurance card if you have insurance coverage. COVID-19 testing is for those residents who are symptomatic, a known contact of someone who has tested positive for COVID-19, or an individual with high risk condition or immunocompromised.

Directional signs will be posted for an orderly traffic flow of 2 lanes. One lane will be for COVID-19 testing and the other will be for the Antibody test. Participants cannot be in the same car to get both types of tests. Everyone within the same car will be getting the same tests. Please be sure to follow the directions, and we respectfully request your patience during this process.

All testing may take 2-5 days for results. Those who receive a COVID-19 test are required to self-isolate (stay at home and do not go out for any reason) until the test produces a negative result. These participants will also need to self-isolate from others within their homes until the test produces a negative result in order to prevent the potential spread of the virus within their own homes.

For more information contact Cindy Biddix at 828-438-1117.
