PUBLIC NOTICE
The Burke County Planning Board will hold a Public Meeting at 5:30 PM on September 24, 2020 in the Commissioners Meeting Room/County Services Building located at 110 N. Green St. in Morganton, NC (Door E). At the meeting they will take public comment regarding the following matters:
ZMA 2020-03 - A request to rezone a 1.4-acre parcel of land from the Residential Three (R-3) Zoning District to the General Business (G-B) Zoning District, Winston Mitchell, Applicant. (PIN# 2721298492) (REID# 60738) (See Map Below)
Major Subdivision Review (1780 Subdivision) - Two new phases consisting of thirteen (13) residential lots identified by PIN#’s 1734737286 (Phase 4) & 1734809355 (Phase 5), Jeremy Purbrick, Applicant.
MEETING FORMAT
The meeting format will be “in-person” and the public is strongly encouraged to adhere to all CDC guidelines by wearing face protection.
Citizens who do not feel comfortable attending in person may submit comments and concerns to the Community Development Department at the address below in advance of the meeting and they will be forwarded to the Planning Board. Additionally, comments can be sent via email to peter.minter@burkenc.org. Written comments must be received by September 18th at 5:00pm.
