The COVID data dashboard will not be updated from April 7 – April 11. The next update will be Monday, April 12 or sooner.

Beginning April 7, all adults 16 and older will be eligible for vaccinations. This move is allowing the state and vaccine providers to continue to get vaccines into arms quickly and continue to reach underserved and historically marginalized populations. If you would like to make an appointment you can call 828-358-4454 or schedule online at

Even though you receive the COVID-19 vaccine, you will still need to practice the 3 W’s prevention for a while until more people receive the vaccine.

We appreciate your patience as we try to vaccinate those eligible and interested as fast as possible.
