We are pleased to present the 2020 Annual Drinking Water Quality Reports. These reports are a snapshot of last year’s water quality. Included are details about your source(s) of water, what it contains, and how it compares to standards set by regulatory agencies. Our goal is to provide a safe and dependable supply of drinking water to you. We want you to understand the efforts we make to continually improve the water distribution process and protect our water resources. We are committed to ensuring the quality of your water and providing this information to you because informed customers are our best allies. These full reports are available online and can be read, downloaded, and printed by typing the following URL in your computer’s browser’s address bar:

Also, free paper copies of these reports are available at the Burke County Water Sewer office located at 302 South Center St. Suite E, Hildebran, NC 28637 and 110 North Green St. Door C Building Inspections, Morganton, NC 28655. Business office hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Call 828-764-9063 if you would like paper reports mailed to you. For more information, Burke County Board of Commissioners’ meetings are open to the public and held the third Tuesday of each month at 6:00 p.m. at the Commissioners’ Meeting Room, Burke County Services building at 110 North Green St. Morganton NC 28655. Given the Global Pandemic uncertainty, future meetings may be held remotely.
