Burke County’s Response to COVID-19

We are encouraging anyone 12 and over to take the COVID vaccine to help reduce the spread of the COVID virus within our community as we move forward.
If you are interested in getting a COVID-19 vaccination, you can go to www.myspot.nc.gov and find locations within Burke and surrounding counties to schedule your appointment. If you have trouble with scheduling or you do not have access to a computer, please contact the Burke County Health Department at 828-764-9150 and dial “0” to speak with the operator and they will assist you.
Even though you receive the COVID-19 vaccine, you will still need to practice the 3 W’s prevention for a while until more people receive the vaccine.
