NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS
AUGUST 17, 2021 – 6:00 PM
The Burke County Board of Commissioners will hold public hearings at 6:00 p.m. on August 17, 2021 in the Commissioners’ Meeting Room/County Services Building, 110 N. Green St. in Morganton, NC (Door E). At the meeting they will take public comments regarding the following zoning matters:
ZMA 2021-09: Applicant: Mary Gibbs: A request to rezone an 8.48-acre parcel (REID # 20012) from Residential Two (R-2) to the General Business (G-B) District. The property is vacant and located off of NC 18/US 64 in the Quaker Meadows Township.
ZMA 2021-10: Mickey Evans, applicant, a request to rezone two (2) parcels totaling 1.14-acres (REID # 59577 and 59578) from Residential Two (R-2) to the General Business (G-B) District. The properties are vacant and located at the end of Ashton Dr. in the Icard Township.
