NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
OCTOBER 5, 2021
4:00 P.M.
The Burke County Board of Commissioners will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, October 5, 2021, at 4 p.m. to receive input from citizens on a proposed modification to the Burke Co. Code of Ordinances, Section 6.3, Authority and Purpose, General Duties of Animal Services Enforcement. The proposed amendment would allow Enforcement Officers to obtain administrative search and inspection warrants and conduct other lawful searches and inspections as permitted by NCGS § 15-27.2.
If reasonable ADA accommodations are needed to participate in the meeting, please contact the County Manager’s office at 828.764.9350 at least 48 hours prior to the meetings. In compliance with the Governor’s Executive Order and to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus, limited socially distanced seating will be available on a first come, first served basis, attendees will be screened and required to wear a face covering.
